Edinburgh Windows and Doors have fully refurbished and double glazed 5 traditional timber sash and case windows. The windows were in a state of disrepair and required a full refurbishment, they will now last many more years if properly maintained. The customer Lewis was also having issues with heat loss and noise from the busy main road outside the property. To solve these issues but maintain the original windows we have fitted heritage double glazed units to the existing sashes. The windows have now also been draught proofed, had the mastic replaces along with new handles locks and pulleys. The original building had black painted exterior windows, a theme more commonly found on sash and case windows in Glasgow. We have kept the original style and applied a three part paint system with a final oil based gloss finish.
