EWD were tasked to refurbish 60 sash and case windows in castle street Edinburgh for a commercial development project to turn the office space into luxury apartments. The existing windows were in poor condition, we removed all sashes, draught proofed them and replaced a number with new timber sashes. We also re roped all windows and changed all the ironmongery. We have also installed electric roof windows and changed all dormer plates. The work was conducted over one month and was an interesting project in the city centre.
