We carried out on going work for the Royal Society of Edinburgh fixing a number of sash and case windows which were painted shut. The windows are large and required us to fit a pulley system so the windows could be easily opened by members of staff. Scaffolding was required t re rope a number of the windows due to the size and height of the traditional sash and case in the impressively large rooms. Edinburgh Windows and Doors and our specialist sash and case division EWD sash and case also draught proofed a number of windows and sealer in roof windows which had been leaking.
