While changing over windows at another customers flat at the meadows we were approached by a neighbour. They had recently moved into a flat and were looking to improve the thermal efficiency of their windows. After a consultation the client opted for new timber sashes to be put into the existing cases with heritage double glazing fitted in them. We made sashes for three large windows and a small casement window in our workshop. The windows are then fitted with 4/6/4 heritage slim line double glazed units. We provide all our new windows fully painted. The existing sash and case were removed and the new sash were re roped and re weighted. The new sash also come with our draught proofing system pre installed. We took one day to remove and install the new new sash and re weight the windows with due to the new glass were nearly twice as heavy as the old sashes.
